Perth Unicorns??

If/When the Perth side gets admitted, what should they be called.


IMO they should be the Perth Unicorns. It opens up the NRL to new markets, such as women, the gays (although Souffs have cornered the market there already), and those conspiracy theorists who wear tin hats and believe in every mythical creature.

Going for the "reds" moniker that their previous team had will be bad, as it'll have all the negative connotations and memories. It'd be like calling the titans the seagulls

Also, it'll make posting threads on here better. Think of all the 'the unicorns are myths' threads people will post.

stormtroopers - no way. we don't need an influx of Star Wars nerds into the game. they'll be there with their 50 copies of the same game, with slight adjustments and new editions (extra spark here, different line of dialogue by Gus there) and they'll be wearing silly shirts like "Myles punched first" We don't need this in the game

I really rate Gazf's Perth Reds designs. I also prefer city specific names rather than huge regional names. WA sounds lame.
There is already "Western Force" "West Coast Eagles". We should try to own the Perth name (fk the Glory off)
