PETA - who are supposedly the animal loving warriors - don't run no kill shelters. In fact they don't try to rehome animals they rescue. 90+ % of Peta rescues are put down same day.
They're hypocrites and can f*ck right off.

PETA have got you doing exactly what they wanted by that press release - you're talking about PETA. They do this every few months to teams with animal mascots.

Yep. This is how they get their PR, by getting journos to write up this sort of outrage piece and people reacting to it online.

As I said in the Warriors forum, there should be a mascot duel to the death where we throw the real life figures - a Dolphin, Shark, Eels, Rabbit, Bronco + the human versions as well - onto a field and let them fight to the death. There could be an on-land version, and a water-based one as well, for fairness.

Yes - the sensible and far more reasonable suggestion would be for PETA to ask the Broncos to consider phasing out the live horse in the stadium. That would garner some support, not be earth shattering and not make them look like idiots. But no- a name change it is.

I think the name PETA is offensive to people named Peter or Peta, they should change it. I would suggest Terminate Woeful Animal Treatment Society which can abbreviate to something more appropriate
