Did anyone read the Fitz Files today?
Here's a link for those who haven't:

This is a copy of the e-mail I wrote to him in response:
"The winner was the Wests Tigers, beating last years winners Parramatta. It doesn't surprise me that you didn't know, because I find it hard to believe that you'd have enough room in your narrow mind to make way for other sports along side both rugby union and your ignorance.
Had you been watching free to air television on the Sunday evening you would have seen the semi-finals and finals being played. Although, being a rugby union enthusiast, you probably don't watch free to air. Apparently you're not alone though, with channel 7 dropping their Super 12's coverage.
Let's see now, the rugby league 7's can get FTA coverage, but Super 12's can't. Hmmm... and you imply that nobody saw the rugby league 7's?
Just another ridiculous attempt to sink the boot into league, and by clumsily trying to tie it in with a cricket piece? You're nothing but a propaganda merchant for your code, and represent everything that a lot of SPORTS lovers in our state reject in rugby union.
Regards,"[/quote]

One-day yawn
Who won the rugby league World Sevens that, I think, was held a fortnight ago? I don't know, either, but if you do, and can still remember, it's probably fair to say you should try to get out more. For what it's worth, TFF can't help but feel much the same over the cricket one-day series. Remember when it was Test cricket that was on the nose and the one-day comp was rock'n'roll? Somehow, in 2004, it is the Test cricket that is the really juicy meat and potatoes of the game while the one-day stuff is mere sarsaparilla on the side. So we're in the finals of the one-day series are we, and Australia and India have made the cut? For Gawd's sake, who cares? When it comes to one-day cricket, TFF can do no better than quote a Doug Mulray line: "Stick a fork in its arse and turn it over - it's done."
