All we need is for Big T and Peanuts to put in half the effort that Petero does. Big T especially has got to be the most dissapointing second rower in the NRL.

The sad thing for Penrith is that Frank Pritchard probably ranks in as number 2. When he's on he's a wrecking ball. But he plays a good game about 3 times a season.

Not too sure whats going on out there but the best isnt being brought out in the players, not by a long way.

The players need an atitude adjustment hopefully petro can play his part in arranging that.

Agreed,

It's not like the Panthers didn't have the personnel this year to be more than competitive.

He's only one man and when he's back peddling every second set cause
Luke Priddis has been penalised for the 50th time, he may look not so happy to be in Penriff.

Definitely had the personnel. We piled the points on a few teams on a few occassions and really stuck it to some of the best teams. But far too many times, players clocked off, or just didn't try or some other crap, and lost way too many games we should have won.

Luke Lewis was the most penalised player in the NRL, and Frank Pritchard was the third most penalised. IIRC, we had 4 players in the top 10 most penalised list. Probably would have had Luke Priddis up the top of it if he hadn't spent so much time in PL and on the sidelines.

At any rate, our front row should be extremely disciplined for a change. Petero, 8 Ball and Woolnough are all pretty well disciplined. As good as Joel Clinton could be, he did tend to give away a lot of penalties and make a lot of handling errors.

He'll be another Lang, rather than another Gillmeister.

Petero will be what is needed to fire up our under performing forward pack. Can't wait until '08!
