even if we had a 5 million petition for the canberra game jersey to be our main jersey it would not get in requirements by the nrl have to be submitted in writing 18 months in advance before they get the nod

due to merchandise sales of the old or replaced version

I like the current gernsey, but the retro one leaves it for dead.
Unfortunately like groggo said above, even if Manly submited it for the new gernsey now it would not be passed untill the 06 season.

You're almost right. Manly v Raiders jerseys this weekend are the jersies the teams wore in the 87 grandfinal - all other teams will wear a commemorative jersey in round 25.
