B&E roll choc oak and a bottle water followed by a swim in the ocean and your hangover is gone.

Rags just said Gould would be calling the panthers tigers game since everyone else is at the logies. Should be interesting.

The sooner him and Rabs get off commentating the better.

According to Rabs, Sunday is the day after Friday now.... FMD.

He won't get a word in about the OAK Panthers, because he will be with "ball goes away on the outside, he's put down and accommodated the centre three-quarter.......right boot strikes it and it's straight between the black dot"

Here's my prediction of how Gould's commentary will unfold:

“These blokes are a joke, they look broke and gunna choke and pretty soon croak. The Tiger’s folk will be heartbroke suffering from heatstroke as the Panthers provoke and evoke the revoke sidestroke against the slowpokes from the big smoke”

Phil was on suicide watch today, or so it seemed from his tone of resignation. I understand that they were light on commentators today with a few off at the Logies but surely someone else without a vested interest in the result could've made a guest appearance? What are Brett Kenny and Paul Green up to these days?

I found it funny when he said a benji Marshall pass (which actually looked ok, hadley, sterlo and freddy all agreed) was a mile foreward

I've seen benji throw passes 10ms forward and he has said they were fine and the refs were blind

On the plus side there wasn't the same old, boring Rabs and Gus banter during Sunday afternoon commentary.

He was fairly quiet today though compared to normal. Chimed in here and there with some insights into Penrith and the players but the play by play he was a lot less involved in.

I liked how he kept talking about the golden west, as opposed to the greater west...
