i think he's just as good even when the Roosters ARE playing.

Some people have a very thin skin and an even shorter memory. Gould, like myself, always sticks up for the traditional clubs ... f**k these ring ins ;-)

i certainly wouldn't mind the ugly slug coaching my team.

And the entire league world would have FEAR written across its face. You know something Greg, my uncle Harry Eden has cancer and noone knows how long he has ... i just want him to see a Saints premiership before the big dude in the sky tells him his number's up ... i think he'd be grateful to see another Saints premiership before he goes, but unfortunately i cant see it happening with Brownie mate.

i don't mind brownie - he's seems to be getting better. it's just important that the talent at the club isn't wasted before it dissappears.
i think gould could manage it well.

best wishes for your uncle btw - a worthy wish if ever there was one

I hope Harry beats it too OVP.

I'm starting to warm to P. Gould. His passion is infectious and he seems to really enjoy the way we play Footy.

Thx mate. And just on Gould ... he ALWAYS like that, its just the News Ltd aligned clubs/fans give him constant hell ... but be sure of one thing EA ... Gould loves the Tigers much more than any News Ltd ring in team ... he'll ALWAYS be on your side :)

it's a pity he didn't play or coach the club he supported as youngster

Yes he played for Souths, and he also offered his time completely free of charge to try and do his best, in a very lean "signing" year to do that for them as well.

Souths fans complain what he signed for them in their first year back, but

(a) he did it free of charge to the best of his ability, and lets face it there was hardly a marquee signing available in 2002.

(b) no matter what he does, he'll ALWAYS be crucified by nobodies. The way i see it is simple .. who cares about the nobodies ? They are a dime a dozen and arent worth anything on Gould's efforts overall for this great game we ALL love.

best of luck to harry OVP.

I have never hated Gould myself, sure ive disagreed with his sentiments at times, but his heart is in the right place. He knows how to express passion and inspire players and fans alike as well.
