DISGRACED former Melbourne Storm boss Brian Waldron has refused to accept a specially made wooden spoon trophy we tried to present to him yesterday.

Buzz was in Melbourne to cover Karmichael Hunt's AFL debut and decided to pay Waldron a visit at his Hawthorn home.
The trophy was made with a Storm logo and a wooden spoon. But the man who used to lap up publicity didn't want a bar of it.
Buzz arrived, pressed the front door bell, and Waldron appeared down the corridor but hiding behind a dark flyscreen. "What are you doing," he called out.
"I've got a trophy for you, it's the wooden spoon," Buzz says.
"You've got a camera, this is a stitch-up. Go away," Waldron says before slamming the front door.

Anyone notice when a football broadcast would start with the intro showing snippets of players,and all the assorted graphics followed,capped off with the Storm players surrounding the GF trophy with Billy Slater giving the camera the typical "up-you two-fingers" at least two times in succession?

Since they have been caught out with the salary (should we be calling it a contract cap?),Foxsports don't show that any more (I'm sure some of you have the snippet on the start of some of your kept games) which to me,having the Storm cop whatever comes its way is more than warranted with hopefully more to come.

Well when you buy "that" newspaper you should never be dissapointed with its content, mainly because with a reputation like they have the expectations you set for it should not be that high to begin with.

On the "lets pester the sh*t out of Brian Waldron" matter, I don't give a f**k, about the man, Rothfield or any of the associated self induced circle jerking that goes on with all of them in those particular circles.
Considering that Rothfield is about as honest a journalist as Waldron was CEO of the Storm, it would have been preferable for a jumbo to crash on both of them.
