We look better with KK at dummy half than we did with MK there... we're getting down in their territory, but as Belly said, just not making it count.

I seriously think we need to think about: 6. Mateo 7. Finch 13. Hayne 9. KK 14. MK, Mateo must have his hands all over the attack, and Hayne can try doing the defence Mateo's been doing, because we need two halves, not just Finch and no-one. MK off the bench would mean we have a choice who takes a break and can switch the playmakers around mid-game. Oh, and Wellar shouldn't start.

Interesting... this is the first week (I think) that KK has come on and Feleti stayed on instead of having a break. KK is looking a revelation from dummy half, just have to get the halves right now. I'm not sold on Hayne there in attack, and think anyone in our club placed at half would struggle alongside a non-playmaker. Joey might have been able to make it work, and England's once best half (Sean Long at St Helens), but DA needs to come up with plan B and let Mateo loose in a playmaking role asap.

Absolutely agree Bart watching this game unfold.

I think we do the basics of the game ok but extend that to some advanced application of bodies in motion trying to bamboozle the defence it is just not there. We bamboozle ourselves.

Half, five eighth and dummy half as the playmakers. Some hard work up the middle, and some talent and flair out wide.

Our attacking play is nothing tonight, it's basically Mateo on the rare occasions he gets involved, and then just down to straight luck whenever anyone else (including Finch) tries to do anything.

Players who are either past their best or just not up to it, with a couple of huge talents in the backs who played their best football in 2007.

That's about all the changes we can make this year that might make any difference. And then we're still hoping against hope that our forwards can hold the opposition's pack, and that our outside backs can inject something and not leak points.

Hayne had another crap game. Threw passes but they were duds.
Finch had a crap game. No wonder he bloody got shifted to hooker at the end.
Mateo had a crap game but he's been shackled.
Where the hell was Burt's 2nd man running?
Matt Keating almost got a nice try but then provided crap.
KK looked our only spark with the ball and that didn't amount to much.

Every single one of our ball playing options are leading to diddly squat. We ran decently up the middle but provided zero creativity. In the last ten minutes when the game was long gone we tried to start offloading but they all went to ground and half were scrambled by the Roosters.

In attack, we are outright duds.

Start KK, unshackle Mateo and make sure Burt runs 2nd man plays. That's the only real choice we have.
