Night 8

Barbossa paced back and forth. He was so close to killing that fat oaf that called himself king and now someone had ruined it by jumping ship (literally and figuratively).

He had an inkling as to who it might be and he went to try and kill Elizabeth Swann. Will Turner knew what was coming well in advance, and made sure she was nowhere to be found.

Dejected Barbossa head back to his cabin, that was until a shot rang out in the night. He turned around to find his loyal Bo'sun had thrown himself between Hector and the bullet.

Bo'sun is dead. He was Bo'sun, Pirate aligned Master of the Whip

Barbossa ran to where the shot had come from and found a clue. The revolver that had shot at him had been left on the ground. He picked it up and examined it.

'Royal Navy issue. Definitely our traitor.'

He turned it over and found some markings on the bottom.

The first marking was a cross. The second appeared to be a word 'Epistle'.

'Epistle?' Thought Barbossa. 'Could that be Spanish for pistol?'

The only other player in this game so far who has used a pistol is Jack Sparrow.

7 alive, so 5 vs 2.

We take out the wrong person and it's 4 vs 2 with Soc having a shot tonight to get it to 3-2.

On the flip side we lynch Fred and it's still 5 vs 2 with one extra person identified and one less place for them to hide.

The other thing is that if Fred is the mafia we're looking for then we have to go through SGL first to get to him. Soc would essentially have a 3 person protection chain.
