ridell is not a 80 minute player so either pj or morris will have to act as a interchange for him ridell usualy plays between 50 and 60 minutes a game.

id have

6/ marsh

I like what your saying Redback, Agree with all the positions except when Morris comes on, Riddell Comes off, he'll be bugged, He doesn't move to second row, If so, Where does Morrison and Hindmarsh go.

Also, I don't think Morris will leave Parramatta because Marsh has signed up, He will be with us for a long long time.

So the last two times that PJ Marsh has finished a season he has been in a team that played in the grand final!

I am absolutely torn right now about where to play him - in my mind he was the best hooker in the game (yes better than Buderus) - his pace off the mark is sensational, and he can carve up opposition defences. He has a sublime kicking game and passing is certainly not his weak point (how well has Stacey Jones gone without PJ's slick dummy half service?)

I wouldn't be disappointed if PJ came on after 20 at hooker with Witt and Morris starting in the halves. Witty isn't a bad tackler, is improving as an organiser and is definitely a good runner and kicker of the ball.
Morris is definitely a good runner and great and putting a man through a hole - and would certainly fit the bill defensively as a 5/8! He also has a pretty useful kicking game - especially his bombs.

damn i really dont know what to do with him now. before he was a good replacement for jason taylor. my biggest concern is what will we do with webster. look what happened with stu webb. i reckon stu is better than craig wing.

Morris left Newcastle because he wanted to be starting Hooker

Morris left Newcastle because a) they couldn't afford him while paying thru the nose for other players and b) he wanted a starting spot which was given to him at hooker. I'm sure he'd be happy to start in another role if he has to, which sounds likely to be the 6 jumper. Win more than 60% of our games and I'm sure he'll be happy to stay.
