PJ Marsh slams Brisbane Broncs

Matt Rogers was fantastic with the Wallabies! He was never given a chance to fully settle into any one position (five-eight, inside centre, fullback, wing) but he was virtually the only attacking spark the Wallabies had. Or the Waratahs, for that matter. By far the best League convert to play union!

What the f**k is wrong with you people? I wholeheartedly agree with what he is saying. He could just sit on the sidelines and soak up his cash, but he is stating that he wants to play for it? Wow, crucify the man. For those that are knocking his ability as well, he was devastating off the bench for us and played well above his weight. He was a main contributor in the 2006 season where we almost made the Grand Final.

If you also don't remember he issued a statement to us before he left to play for the Broncos that basically said that whilst he was moving on, he really enjoyed playing for us and was regretful that he had to go.

You make me sick. I would take him back in a heartbeat if the position vacated.

You make me sick too :sto:

hahaha when he went up to the Broncos he basically said that he was with the greatest team in the world, that he always wanted to be a Bronco and would have come earlier if asked... how good is that club now PJ ??
What it comes down to is this - You are a average player PJ. Nothing more, and at 29 you arnt offering too much in the future.

In places like Parra of old, you were trumped up as being better than what you are but when the harsh realiities of life hit you like it did when you rocked up to brisbane
you were put in your proper place.

I know no one in Parra would trade PJ with either MK/Kinga or Anthony Mitchell.

That's complete rubbish.

Sorry PJ - but you had a regular first grade gig at the Eels who resurrected your career from the Warriors.

You were popular amongst the fans and coaching staff but chose to chase the dollars and the opportunity to play at a glamour club.

You made your bed - now lay in it without the whinging!!!

He actually went to Brisbane because:

a) He wanted to be closer to family.
b) Some off-field opportunities were available to him that he wanted to pursue.

PJ was wicked at the Warriors. It was disgusting how they treated him. Week in week out he was in our top 1-2 by performance, he'd carve teams up straight through the middle on a weekly basis.

I just want to know why Luke Burt thinks PJ Marsh is a germ

Maybe PJ should of gone to the titans when they were looking for a hooker

As for a return to the Eels Kinga & Keats are going great guns.

What if Burty was our #14 next year playing in the role of dummy half / hooker
I for one think he would be great. He has speed & can kick to ball

I agree, I wouldnt have him back at 29 but he did give the club very good service.

whats that got to do with anything? do we have a nice guy test?

1. Yes he did but that was then and not now. I dont know how many Qld Cup games you have seen but for PJ to come out and publically declare that he is the best hooker at the club and a great club like the Broncos havent given him enough chances smacks of arrogance and ego. The Broncos know exactly what they are doing.

2. Hopefully under Daniel Anderson and Ozzy we dont tolerate dickheads so yeah .. we do have a nice guy test.

Burt at hooker? Maybe in attack....not a great option in the defensive line though.

Be interested to see more Broncos fan's opinions on this. It is a bit of a whinge considering he hasn't really been consistently fit over the past 2 years. If he's injured and someone else has cemented a position in his abscence then they've earned it and he cannot expect to walk straight back in to first grade. Can understand his frustration, but you cannot expect the best of both worlds. I'm sure he'd easily get a first grade contract with another NRL club and be thrust straight into first grade, but if he's not willing to take a pay cut then it won't happen.

Marsh has been yet another one of Bennet's dud signings.

Hes had a few long stints on the sidelines with injuries and thats only in the short time that hes been at the club. Last year there was no reason to select him because Ennis was in way better form, plays 80 and is fit much more often.

Really theres no point in playing Marsh anymore. McCulloch is the future and Marsh is injured too bloody often. He must've just assumed that when he's fit he just be gifted the 9 jersey.

He obvioulsy hasnt got much between his ears either with some of the comments he's made in that "interview".

I'm guessing that PJ won't get a look in as half back after bagging the club earlier this year. He would have been a perfect sub for Wallace in such a big match IMHO.
