It is still a day I will never forget in my lifetime. No news event I have ever seen in my lifetime had such an effect on a large number of people more than when the Sept 11 news broke. My workplace which was such a loud working environment was so quiet as well as the shopping centre I went to after work that day. Very eerie day.

This video was just uploaded. It is from the first terrorist attack by Al-Qaeda at the World Trade Centre on February 26, 1993, when a van bomb exploded beneath the North Tower. 6 deaths and 1,042 injured. The intention was to make the North Tower collapse onto the South Tower, taking down both skyscrapers and killing tens of thousands of people.
