Just heard on the radio (Star FM 104.5 Central Coast) that the flight the Toyota Cup Broncos side is meant to be on has been delayed and they may not arrive in time for the scheduled 5:15pm kickoff. If they can't make it in time it has been suggested the game be played at 9:30pm, after the main game.

It's to do with the NRL... people attending tonights game may choose to stay on after first grade...

Gotta feel for the people who get there early only to find they are sitting there for 2 hours + waiting for FG.

I guess they might choose to also play it another day or not open the gates til 7:00pm...

For an interstate game like this surely both squads would've come down yesterday? Unprofessional IMO.

Since the Toyota Cup started clubs who have travelled from interstate get there on the day of the match. NRL only pays for accomodation for First Grade.

set up a competition and then not fund a vital element of it, potentially leading to farce?

A lot of these kids have apprenticeships and uni, and even jobs.
They can take days off, but not every day.
