Online League Simulation (OLS) is a computer program based on the game of Rugby League. This is a realistic simulation with an arcade flavour. You can play a competition with other coaches, be it NRL, ESL, Origin or Tri-Nations. Organised competitions are flexible to the collective group of coaches desire; follow the real life draw, make your own draw, have a shorter season, anything is possible.
OLS also has a demo mode where you can submit a game plan playing as any team. You might also want to try your luck in demo mode against the OLS All Stars team. The only difference with demo mode is that results are not part of an organised competition. The results will be emailed back to you and if you play the OLS All Stars you might get your name on the leaderboard (see the All Stars link on the website).
You play OLS by selecting a lineup and submitting a game plan (see the Info link on the website). The game plans will be run on a daily basis and results emailed back to the player and in an organised comp published here on the League Unlimited forums. Demo games are not published in the forums unless you play the All Stars team, in which case the most recent results and best result by each team will be published here on the forums.
Some of the features of OLS are:
- Injuries
- On reports
- Judiciary
- Send offs
- Video ref
- Golden point
- Man of the match points (3-2-1)
- Crowds
- Weather
- Interchange
- Power plays
- Coach ratings
- Game stats
