The problem i have actually having was, for example, i wanted to give brett hodgson some more agility and correct his hight using the player editor. i do that, but then when i use him in the game, his stats and everything are fine, but vossy calls him 'the fullback' and never by his surname. Am i using the editor right? :?

i would say not because International Edition had every player in the database modified using the editor and the player names are retained.

Make sure you are only changing and not recreating the player as a new person.

double click the player and edit then press save. don't click "create as new" or whatever it is.

I've had the same issue sometimes with player editing, the best way to do things is make a fresh install, install the Sidhe patch then install the editor, that shouldn't then have a problem.

Argh!I edited lots of players so they are more accurate and now my game wont open!

the editor makes backups, check them.

The game starts loading up for about half a second but then goes back to my desktop.I used the backups(at least i think they are the backups,player.db.old and team.db.old) but still no luck.
