Thats it Storm appologists, stick your heads back in the sand. They are all innocent, how were they to know the home renovations, the boats, the 15 different contracts, etc were not legit............................................

Uhh:

The email exchange highlights Banaghan's attempt to stop Waldron from hiding a 7.5 per cent management fee in the contract of Storm forward Adam Blair.

"I do not want it paid to me any way but the correct way," Banaghan writes in one email.

So IF he's aware that there were suss payments being offered, and HE knew that they were being offered, then how the heck can he say that the players would NOT have known??

Suss payments being offered in obvious ways to the player manager; suss boats/ renos/ sponsorships being given to the players - Banaghan clearly rates the Storm players as absolute morons since they couldn't figure out what he could - that an illegal payment was being offered.

i think the point is.. yous are pointing the fingers at so many ppl, yet it could turn out maybe none are guilty...

Thats called Faith and loyalty in your club, I hope any Storm supporter feels like that.
thats not giving up faith on your team.

Stand by your team no matter what.

Loyalty.

Loyalty has nothing to do with backing them regardless of what they do.

And do you support the club whose actions stripped 2 premierships off your team? Do you support the club who, by cheating, will now force out good, solid players who have been the backbone of your success, and who are playing for far less than the cap breakers?

I support my team - not neccessarily the club - whose role it is to allow the team to survive and operate. If I supported my CLUB, that would have meant supporting a dipsh*t CEO for 30 years, and I certainly didn't. If Souths supporters supported the CLUB - Rusty would never have taken hold. Piggins would still be in charge - they'd be stone motherless last and offering $400k to Paul Cariage!

You better decide if it's your team or club you are standing behind.

That's it simo, all other fans would do the same.
If we were to believe the players were in on it and no real evidence is found, how good a supporter would we be then?

A player manager's word that players and player managers wouldn't have known... yeah, right!

All players had to do was look at who was standing next to them on the paddock..

That would have or should have been the 'WTF' moment. All those international and origin stars and they never once thought that something was amiss.

That and the fact other teams had to shed players and they didn't. Folau made it clear he was homesick and the main reason for his going to the Bronco's.

If some players didn't intentionally take part (I have my doubts) in the rort they intentionally imo turned a blind eye to what they MUST have suspected was going on.

And that makes them just as quilty imo.

So an individual who suspects something is every bit as guilty in your eyes as someone who definitely knows something? What the f**k are you on woman?

Suspecting something and knowing something are 2 completely different things.

Are you saying Melbourne didn't shed any players during 2006 - 2009?

Storm players shed since 2006:

-Webster
-Orford
-M.King
-Kaufousi
-B.Cross
-Crossman
-Crocker
-Turner
-Chambers
-J.Smith
-Tagatese
-Tomane
-Folau

Folau did spin some sh*t about being close to family but i think we all know now categorically it was for the bucks.
