Hey just wondering on the profile sections of the site, can we have players stats like a cricket score, like such as average, average in 2004, highest score (what ground, and what team against) rep-honors/trophys, and all of that, therefore players which played last year, could have a goal of beating last years average. Great way to see the stats for the most improved player.

I think you'll find that its there if you have a look. Click on the 'Season 2004' link.

The only thing I'm waiting on are the player profiles for 2005 to be sent to me.

Sounds like you're thinking up things for me to do Robster.

They're all there. You just have to look them up by clicking on the right link.

If you like, dissect the stats and put them in your team thread or here in F7s HQ.

probally like once a year , add up each players total and find out the average and see how they compared to the previous season, also put a best score on there profile with what stadium it was played in and what team it was against, I'm willing to find that info out at the end of the season as long as your willing to put it in.

Ive seen you count Robster. You better get a calculator for each hand.

Now I don't want to sound like I'm attacking you here Robbo, but whats the point of such a fact? The scoring this year is a totally different scoring scheme as to last seasons to begin with. Also, you may find that the quality of articles being presented has changed since the inception of the game, not to mention the fact that all the averages would be very similar, around 8.4 i'm guessing.

As willow said, its sounds like a lot of extra unneccessary work.

An overall average doesnt show how much a player may have improved and how good they are now. For example, say Robster average 4 in 2002, 6 in 2003 and 7 in 2004. His average would say he scores around 5.67 when in reality his last 2 seasons he's averaged more than that.

the same goes for form that has slipped. If you're doing it purely for curiousity reasons, then I suggest you do that privately. But if you want a true gauge of a writers scores, then take the previous season's average.
