3 - Hodgson. Got smashed a thousand times and just kept coming back for more. He really is one tough bastard
2 - Robertson. Did some great things. At the start of the year I thought he shouldn't be in first grade, but he's now convinced me he should stay there.
1 - Davico. Some bone rattling hits at crucial moments. Week in week out one of our best players.

Hodgson 3 points. very solid game

Wiki 2 points

Robbo 1 point. Looks pretty comfortable in 1st grade now.

time for my new award called "The relagation award"

That award goes to Hindmarsh. How about he holds onto the ball for once

But he defended really well, Mogg and Monaghan were targeted and really didnt go to well in defence, where as boogs was solid

2- martin. fighting injury all week. ferocious defense, had more punch in his hitups than i've seen, good angles.'
1-hindmarsh, but his attack seems a bit sloppy.maybe is waiting for a bit better direction
This time last year we seemed to have perfect balance between Offense and Defense. But this year our defense has gone up much more in aggression and probably eaten up our attacking efforts more.
We won this type of tight game last year, and i havn't seen them concede a game before fulltime in 2 years which reiterates how spent they were in defense.

Stay Green!

These threads, created after each match, are for the voting in the SGB 2004 Player of the Year. Details can be found at http://www.geocities.com/sydney_green_brigade - click on 'PLAYER OF THE YEAR'. Basically you have six votes you can dish out to who you think was the standout from the game, but no-one player can receive more than 3 votes from a voter (see what the other voters are doing). Then everything gets compiled and we see who was our MOTM for that game, its a cumulative thing across the season.

We are trying to possibly have the 'SGB player of the year' as a serious award at the Raiders end of season presentation night as it is a true fan-based award. As such please respect the voting criteria so the legitimacy of the competition is maintained!!

Thanks and please feel free to vote again Brad!

It is probably a good idea to at least watch the whole game before voting too.... :)

Has anyone else noticed how Hindmarsh's handling is letting him down the last 2 games too?

A little, but no more than Statue.

And after Tonguey Hindy is our best player as far as defensive workrates go, so he more than makes up for it.

3.Boogers- I was happy with the game he played. To be honest, i was going to come here and bag hm a bit for the bombed try but others seem to have taken that option so i will stay away from there. Acted like another forward, which makes me believe he would'nt be too bad off the bench...
1.Germ- dead set if he gets suspended i'm giving up on the 'revamped' judiciary from now...
1.Tyran- strong performance
1.Statue- HIT OF THE SEASON!
