3 Benny Smith - we wouldn't have won without him
2 Tim Mannah - so much go forward for a big man in that heat
1 Luke Burt - because i am his biggest fan
This game was won by our forwards. Similiar to the pack in the 80's, these guys dont get the recognition I think they deserve. Great stuff, from some truly great war horses!! (I used to love that war horse ad on TV that showed Pricey. They should bring out a new one with HIndy in it). Matt K and Kevvie K are so effective out of dummy half as well.
(I suppose being a prop/2nd rower myself, I will always favour the engine room, over the glory boys in the backs.:lol
The most difficult to select all year but without prejudice to the other 13 (yes I did leave out Jonathan Wright on purpose), here are my choices:
3. Jarryd Hayne. I just wish he would leave the ground under the high ball and not let it bounce.
2. Nathan Cayless. Made 40 odd crutial tackles and played 63 minutes. Captain my Captain.
3. Ben Smith. Reputation is steadily growing. Love them big hits.
