Players - are they getting along with each others?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here and curious to learn more about the team dynamics. Are there any tensions between players, or do they generally support one another?

I've been a Dragons fan since the 1999 season, and I absolutely love it. Over the years, I've witnessed moments where players didn’t seem to get along.

One memorable example was the clash between Lawrie and Klemmer during the Dragons vs. Knights match in 2021. It happened during a scrum when Klemmer struck Lawrie in the mouth—a fight to remember!

Now that they're teammates, I wonder, have they managed to put that incident behind them? Are they friends now?

With a bit of luck Klemmer & Lawrie won’t play in the same team this year!

Neither of them seem like the sort of blokes to hold a grudge. Hopefully it gives them a bit of respect for each other, knowing the other bloke won't take a backward step if it comes down to a stink. That's what you want in a teammate.

Nah man don't think they'd hold a grudge. That's footy, players have run ins all the time. Burto and gagai got a photo after their origin punch on. Suluka Fifita ended up signing with Souths after punching Arrow in the back of the head and the team ended up loving him

Thanks all. I am really glad we are witnessing how professional the players are in regards of this type of behaviour. This sets good example to the fans and kids of things do happen, and not taking it seriously. I understand on field drama has got nothing to do with off field dramas.

Appreciate your responses.

In footy players biff all the time. I have had a fight with a bloke where we both got red carded and then had beers and dinner with him after the game. The team seems really good dynamics at the moment the culture has certaintly lifted, since we got rid of 2 cancerous tumours in Ben Hunt and Zac Lomax.
