Can NOT tackle anymore. It's why he was dropped and why his use by date at the Tigers has expired. Where would he play? SJ and BM would be oil and water. Like BT and CT were last night. I agree on his lack of stopping the attack, but geez our current crop of 2020 are hardly plugging the holes in the dykes.In defence we seem to be like NSW railway turnstiles, where people flow through with ease.
As for Benji ,why not hooker? Not exposed as much defensively and switch our front row around.
Agree SJ must stay as is.

Dream too far I suspect taip. Whoever gets dropped gets replaced by a kid we have blooded this year. As impressive as some debuts, cameos and full games have been I doubt any of them are NRL semi footy ready. Especially as many have been blooded late in the piece.

To be honest, this team has exceeded my expectations already. Probably why I don't get so fragile as some when they lose or underperform.

Good, balanced post. This team isn't near contending right now. Defence, mental toughness, experience and lack of quality in key positions need to be addressed. Expecting elite performance isn't justified. The inability to rise to a higher intensity of better competition is frustrating but symptomatic of where the team is right now.

Making week 2 of the semis would be a very good result. Any experience in big games helps in development.

Good point about no home ground. Its a big disadvantage.
