I’m more positive than before. I live in the neighbourhood plus, more significantly, I feel more at ‘home’ at Oki since Sydney FC have also been playing outta there. (Apologies to all who’s sexuality is threatened by the round ball game)

The whole experience has been a massive cluster f**k.

Who would have ever imagined that the way we run things.

I found it easy as piss to be honest.
I waited a couple of weeks
Then logged in with my members code
Renewed.
Sent an email requesting a certain seat.
They called me in person to tell my request was granted.

but I’m me.
:grinning:

I simply phones the club when I had an IT problem trying to renew online. After a pleasant 10 minute conversation it was all resolved, and I really appreciated the open arvo at Kogarah, the chance to check out the actual seats and the chance to talk through problems with Club staff. I think they did well and overcame an IT f**k up that came courtesy of Tikatek.

Neither of the above has been remotely close to my experience or any of the members I've spoken to.

Ranging from people that tried initially to people that left it a few weeks.

I cannot agree that it's been done well at all.

But each to their own.

It would be strange to close the pool for summer, so agreed.

carch did say you could watch the game from there. I couldn't give a shit what goes on there outside footy.

I think I heard something about $150 a ticket to watch from pool bar.
The jist was the entire joint is a massive entertainment precinct.
1 to 1.5k people live music venue
Aimed more at all year not just footy
The summer time bar will be completely covered by a beer garden deck with fire pits and wood fired pizza ovens and stuff.

Sounds awesome.... trouble with the leagues club is it's always been a bit of a white elephant on its own down there. Hopefully they'll get it right and there's enough reasons for the punters to head there in its own right.

20 years ago there was nobody living nearby apart from mums and dads in the houses across from it.
Now there is a butt load right on top and another entire suburb only minutes away.
It’ll work.
It’ll be like Miranda fair is now.
