Morris pulled out of the squad through injury. In fact, all the Dragons players did. Smart move.

Was about to say the same thing. This really should be televised.

Also I was under the belief that only players from teams 9-16 could be picked?

GURIAS’ halves combination of Ase Boas and Dion Aiye will spearhead the Prime Minister’s XIII attack against the Australians on Sunday week.
The Kokopo duo easily solved for selectors the ‘match-making’ headache with Boas possibly playing in the No.7 jersey to complement partner and incumbent Dion Aiye a level higher.
Selectors were present at Sunday’s Digicel Cup grand final and went behind closed doors to finalise an 18-man PM’s side besides putting together a 40-man squad for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.

Gurias fullback Albert Patak, centre Jacky Markus, and wing Chris Jerry look certain also to fill run on spots, while veteran prop Rodney Pora played himself to beyond doubt of a starting role on Sunday.
Nuggety Eagles wing Gary Lo is an inside chance for the other wing spot.

The likely PMs XIII side is
1. Albert Patak (Rabaul Gurias)
2. Gary Lo (Mt Hagen Eagles)
3. Thompson Teteh (Goroka Lahanis)
4. Jacky Markus (Rabaul Gurias)
5. Chris Jerry (Rabaul Gurias)
6. Dion Aiye (Rabaul Gurias)
7. Ase Boas (Rabaul Gurias)
8. Gonzella Urakusie (Goroka Lahanis)
9. Charlie Wabo (Mendi Muruks)
10. Rodney Pora (Rabaul Gurias)
11. David Loko (Enga Mioks)
12. Sebastian Pandia (Port Moresby Vipers)
13. Glen Nami (Goroka Lahanis)

Reserves
14. Wartovo Puara Jr (Rabaul Gurias)
15. Werr Mark (Mendi Muruks)
16. Jackson Undi (Mendi Muruks)
17. Pasu Awane (Enga Mioks)
18. Kot Kerua (Rabaul Gurias)
19. Israel Eliab (Port Moresby Vipers)

It would be funny if McCullough pulled out and was replaced by Farah! But seriously with no Sunday finals antmore this game really should be televised. So far the ARLC position on international footy is just like the old administrations. They should of included this game in the TV rights deal.
