Surprise England won. When I heard an update yesterday England were 6/154 I thought they would throw in the towel and be bowled out for 200. Luckily for them Buttler dug in with Bresnan and they posted a competitive total.
Plus the Prime Minister's XI batting line up was poo.

On a side note what is the point of England having Steve Finn in the Test and ODI squads when they don't play him?
If he is not up for it send him home and bring someone who is.

Carberry was going at SR 94.00 for his 47.
Would be interested to see him try to go on the attack against Australia and see if it comes off.

Cook and Root might as well just go home, and I'm not just trying to be funny there.
They're so shot that it will probably do the team some good to have a fresh opener and captain.

Yeah I agree, they're shot. Broad could probably use an extended rest too.

They'd be better off sending the three of them home and drafting Hales, Lumb and Wright in from the BBL to fill out the squad.

I don't know what Finn is tired from he has only played a couple of tour games and the last one was November or December.
