Lorna McPherson is the current CEO of Digicel PNG. She is based in Port Moresby.

Stan Joyce was former CEO of SP Brewery and was the first Chairmen of the Hunters when they joined the QLD Cup in 2014. He retired a couple of years ago and now resides in QLD.

Wapu Sonk is from PNG and is current chairmen of Kumul Petroleum Holdings.

Ian Tarutia is from PNG and was the former CEO of PNG's biggest Superannuation Fund and is currently on their Board.

Marcus Bai is known by everyone.

Ray Dibb has already been mentioned by WB and the only one I'm not sure about is Richard Pegum.

Vlandys answered the question of ownership of the new club. Previous media reports had mentioned the club being owned by a pensions fund but Vlandys has confirmed it will be a members owned model same as Perth.

“This team will be owned by the people of Papua New Guinea. The team will be a member-based team, and so every person in Papua New Guinea can be a member.
"It's their team, and we want them to embrace their team and the best way to embrace their team is to have a membership model."

@mikail-eagle any updates about the location for the players resort and coe

This board is one of the best In the nrl. It would be like an Aussie nrl club getting on their board the boss of Foxtel or bhp

There are about 3 sites being looked at for the player resorts including already existing apartment complexes.
It will be one of the first orders of business that this Board will have to decide on.

This includes deciding on the COE and from what I heard ye0sterday the COE will be built somewhere close to Santos National Football Stadium.

Below are the sites available in vicinity of Santos National Football Stadium.
1. Outer Rugby League field at the Santos National Stadium. Its currently used by the Port Moresby Rugby League
for the Citys Domestic Competition. - Could be an option for a COE.
2. Rita Flynn Netball Courts Complex. Currently used by PNG Netball - Unlikely for a COE.
3. Bisini Softball Precinct. Used for Softball games by the Port Moresby Softball Association. Unlikely for a COE.
4. Empty oval. Used to be for AFL but the AFL competition has moved elsewhere. Could be option for COE.
5. Port Moresby Bowling Club. - Very unlikely for COE.
6. Bisini Cricket Grounds. - Unlikely for COE.
7. Bisini Cricket Grounds. - Unlikely for COE.
8. Bisini Soccer Grounds - Unlikely for COE.
9. Bava Rugby Park- Used by Port Moresby Rugby Union - Unlikely for COE.

if its existing, can they not use it till a more permanent venue is built ?

I like the mix of the board, business accumen and some NRL experience, its great to see Marcus Bai in there too.

Has to be on the water to be a true resort

Hope it’s the site you previously highlighted that looks a cracker

I wonder who owns it hope it’s the team itself that will be a significant asset especially if they can put some commercial in it like shops gyms retail etc
