i like that PNG kit...

as for the rest......seemed good natured...not much "violence" for mine...christ they all sat down when they where told too

as a kid i used to run onto the watersheddings pitch practically every game to get the players "tie-ups" (bits of string they used to hold their socks up with)..i don't see how this is any different........hell i even remember running the watersheddings pitch after the oldham v australia tour game in 1986...as a 7 year old

After the 2001 grandfinal the Knights went back to their home ground, and i was sitting on the hill at 2am watching near identical scenes to that.

Looks like some passionate fans trying to get a closer look at the players. Really didn't look bad at all.

glad you all knew i was being ironic...

Would have to be THE most orderly pitch invasion I've ever seen. I'm glad we can finally see some footage so that we can see the truth for ourselves, rather than have to rely on the reports of journalists who weren't even at the match...

Wasn't the alleged 'violence' referring to the people who couldn't get into the ground rather than the pitch invasion? Either way, I'd love to see PNG build a big, modern stadium and host more regular international matches.

That's one of the most uplifting scenes I've ever seen in RL. Wonderful stuff.

I really hope I get to go and see RL in PNG one day.

Yes...

It was a game punctuated by gunshots as police outside the ground in Lae struggled to control the thousands of people who weren't able to get a ticket.

Filthy savages. How dare they try to get anywhere near our heroic white players. They really need to become human before they are allowed to play our game.
