how long until west papua get a team too to start the rivalry?

west papuan indonesians

for real though whats stopping china from simply putting their port in west papua? wouldn't it basically achieve the same thing as if they plonked it in papuan proper?

That is why the we are also friends with the indonesian government….

Seriously though, all the big countries hate china. That is why china is going to the micro nations to just pay the islands gdp in bribes.

In my opinion, Australia should just start annexing the little islands and crea A tropical empire!!

haven't or aren't indonesia and china about to sign some sort of mammoth trade agreement though? i thought indo's were flirting with either commitment to usa and by extension aussies or with china and i thought i read somewhere they are heavily leaning towards china.

meaning a papuan nrl team to stop chinese ports being built in papua would ne completely negated if they can just build them 1000km due west in west papua.

just random thoughts i had yesterday while getting into a parmi. probably too political for here and i dont know enough really about it. but thought it worth being brought up anyways

Not sure this stops China building ports just military bases and a defence agreement to allow Chinese police / army on their soil

If China does invest more now in png bc of this it’s good for them

Be good if NRL/PNGRL offered tour options for fans when their team is playing in Port Moresby.
