10. Easts are being heavily cockblocked by bronx
Unless they set up shop in Adelaide, they ain't getting in, not for a while anyways
It’s such a weird dynamic. Easts run (they might have handed it back by now) the Broncos Leagues Club, yet also feed into the Melbourne storm. But we also play the NRLW games at Easts 🤷‍♂️

Well, welcome PNG! It's going to be interesting to say the least. I can see this being a really amazing opportunity for PNG as a country and port mosby in particular. Surly there's money to be made development the city to cater for tourism with having a stable diet of NRL games, with fans , players, delegates ect . Probably within a decade that city will see a massive transformation and I really hope that they make the most of it!
Something like this can really kick start a positive economic feedback loop if done correctly!
We can go back and forth about what money will be spent where but at the end of the day there's over half a billion dollars going Rugby league’s way! That's a lot of lettuce.

PNG certainly wasn't my first choice but now that it's a reality all we can do is hope for this to be as big for their fortunes as possible .

2028 still seems to soon is my main concern.

How many Aus domestic sports have introduced an overseas club from a country other than NZ? Only one I can think of is NBL going yo Singapore.

That said, I can only see this lasting a few years and could be a combo breaker for our wooden spoon run should we win the next 3.
