You're a very petty, argumentive individual. So png govt contribution is increasing from 200 million to also cover for stadium upgrades
If only other expansion bids had a govt that was so committed to rugby league
25k won’t be big enough for them down the track
In their first season in the nswrl the broncos averaged 13k
The png side will experience similar crowd growth
haha rich coming from you, the wanker who is constantly obsessed with the same posters over and over again. like his life has a massive void that only this forum and trying to get attention online can fill. never really adding to any discussion either. grow up cob. You're a very petty, argumentive individual.
You say you're a rugby league fan yet when a poster posts something positive about PNG, a bid you claim to support, you immediately ramble on about Perth.
All you're about is point scoring. But no one is keeping score because we've got better things to do with our lives.
If that artists impression is right that’s a beauty
This bid just craps all over Perth
The wa govt is afraid to announce a team in case they lose the election
Yeh doesn’t look like much now and if they are just improving on that it will need a lot of workThe stadium circled in blue below the artists impression is the actual picture of what it currently looks like.
And it is less than 5 minutes walk from my office complex.
Our stadiums In Sydney would love a set up like thatJust took this from Google Maps.
1. Red circle is the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium. (To the left across the road is the yacht club and the Habour City precinct. )
2. Blue circle is where I believe the Car-park and the hotel will be built. Its currently a rectangular oval used by the community around there.
3. Orange circle is where I think the NRL Village will be built. Its right on the waterfront. Might even fit a COE on there.

Id have thought the CoE and maybe even the village could be near the Santos stadium area? Would make sense to use that stadium pitch as the main training facility and plenty of room around it? I see theres a mall, the Australian high commision etc in that area as well. Whats that area vibe like Mikail?Just took this from Google Maps.

why did they spend on the national stadium and didnt just upgrade this over the years? Needs a shed load of work, by looks of it.View attachment 99182

Still a better facility than Leichardt,Brookvale, Campbelltown, Kogarah and Wollongong
maybe leave the construction talk to the experts perthwrongs, ding dongwhy did they spend on the national stadium and didnt just upgrade this over the years? Needs a shed load of work, by looks of it.
I wonder what its capacity is when you add seats to the concrete terraces? Probably a lot less so wonder if they will fill the corners in?
The articles which you didn’t read said this stadium has a concrete and steel base so better for upgrades than the santos stadium which is mostly temp scaffoldingwhy did they spend on the national stadium and didnt just upgrade this over the years? Needs a shed load of work, by looks of it.

Wonder if they’ll use that new hotel next to the ground for the visiting teams, refs etc?Just took this from Google Maps.

That’s what I thought but sounds like that’s a longer term developmentWonder if they’ll use that new hotel next to the ground for the visiting teams, refs etc?
This aged wellReality is they have a stadium that only holds 15k and has hardly any corporate facilities, even if they had loads of companies to throw money at them (which is highly unlikely) they dont have the facilities to sell. All this talk of them being self sustaining g is nonsense, there was a reason nrl wasn’t even considering them until they got some big money govt backing.
going to be fascinating to see how Vlandys supports them to build a competitive squad, could we be moving to an afl grant system with cap allowances thrown in to help them out?
Here’s anotherYou’re going to have so much egg on your face if png doesn’t happen lol

I see there is a big shanty town just up the road from the SHM stadium location, is that a crime risk area?
