Who is going to be overseeing this ? How is that Aussie taxpayer money going to be spent ?

What is the plan for turning 17-18 yr olds today into Top 30 players in 2028?

Might not be the sexiest topic … but they are going to need every hour of time you would have thought setting up and improving this before they come into the comp…

it’s about turning a very small percentage of those numbers into elite NRL level players .., which they have struggled to do even thought they have had the Hunters playing in the QLD Cup…

Joe has been there a couple of years … I would have thought with all the money that’s about to start getting thrown around they can bring in someone over the top?

I am surprised by how little press the PNG side is getting in the Australian media. Normally there is all sorts of rumours of new coaches, players etc. by now.

Can’t say I have read much in the Aust media about PNG since the joining annoucement … would have thought they must have specific plans about a variety of issues that must be sitting with someone somewhere even if the money isn’t in the bank yet … lots to be done in less than three years

If you had actually been following this thread you would know that the junior funding was previously made available as part of the Australian govt funding the pacific cup
