Dolphins took the step for qrl to nrl pretty easily
You make out like the Phins just played there QCup team, they didn't and you're being disingenuous
The Dolphins recruited NRL players from other squads.

That's going to be a lot harder for Port Moresby

Finishing on top of clubs in their first year that have been around for 30 years plus

If they couldn’t have handled the step up to nrl they’d have finished last

They are currently equal last now though …

Your original term used was “ they made the step PRETTY EASILY” …. That’s what I am calling BS on

Well.. I think your original post I objected to was poorly worded then… I maintain they have a long road ahead still
Off field 35k members
One of the biggest sponsorship portfolios in the nrl
Junior base
Average crowds of 25k

On field results come and go

Getting used to life without Wayne Bennett no club has managed that yet

What’s with the continual moving of the goal posts ? I never questioned any of these issues…

Was promoting a qrl club a success ?

My original point was they took the dolphins from qrl and are a successful nrl club as will png will be

Competing in the qrl has proven the concept

And I don’t agree on the field they are bad

They’ve been a competitive side since day one

Ok ..I’ve always understood your overall point …you want to keep referring to things that I’m not debating with you,,

My challenge to you was that they didn’t make the “step from QRL to the NRL pretty much easily “ …in respect of results on the filed …21 out of 53 games and currently equal last now is what I point to …if you think otherwise then fine ..

The PNG hunters have been going with the wrong model throughout its 10+ years in the Queensland cup.

The club should have been basically setup as an extended jersey Flegg side with an age limit of around 25 years old .

the hunters have also suffered massively from not having a u18/u19&u20/u21 sides competing in the Queensland age grade competitions.

How many Redcliffe qld cup players did they use?

This. and the Dolphins struggled a bit to sign quality NRL players in the beginning, how will PNG go?
