I love this song. One of my favourites in recent weeks in fact.

I reckon it's a myth that it's about AIDS. I hadn't heard that, but I don't see why it would be.

That's the chorus (for those who don't know the song), and to me, it's about someone who's bad for him / treats him like sh*t, but he's struggling to resist her (despite knowing that he should keep away).

f**king awesome song, all time favourite, Buxton on guitar is lethal aswell. I've heard this rumour for years......the reason why he cannot touch her is because of aids....but in the end it's he who has the aids not the presumed female?

I think its about AIDS, just my opinion, ahead of its time, he wants to basically f**k her but he knows he cant cause lips are little bit poison, and also just the way the guitar sounds all doom and gloom but brillant never the less, gotta love E power chords hehe

Juts being doing some research, cant find anything concrete about the theory, but have heard it many times that Alice had to tone down the lyrics at benefits etc because of what the song was about?
