Depends, nothing more than a solid fullback really. You'd be better off looking at other options before Polglase.

I'd say Mckinnon..but Polglase is a usefull sort..no to peachey in my opinion, when he goes missing he really goes missing

McKinnon is a pipe dream. If we cant afford Webb, what makes you think we'll be able to afford McKinnon? Greenshields would be a more realistic option...either way none of the other options compare to Webb. Oh and Polglase is a complete nuffy...

Greenshields certainly..I like him..shows a lot of ability and another who would slot in and has a similar game to Webb would be one Steve Turner..ton of gas in him and a breaker of the 1st tackle more often than Webb..has a lot of heart too and you can say the same of Polglase so I'd take him @ 100k less than Webb was asking if it came down to it

Personally..I wouldn't buy overseas..I'd look in my own back yard and the player that ranks highly in my opinion is Patrick Ah Van..seen this kid play a lot and he has the ability to be something if given the chance..most people pick Misi and Vuna ahead of him..I don't and personally I seriously doubt if we'll get Polglase, Wade or even Greenshields and I ask why?

When in our back yard we have a kid like Patrick

I concur with Guten Targ... Greenshields would be the go, although I would try and make a play for Hornby.

As for Ah Van ... from what i have seen of him, he has the goods to be a bloody good first grader, I think he looks like a fullback that Cleary is trying to doctor to be a winger. To me an important thing for a fullback is to be decisive on defence, and he showed me that against the Broncos, even hough he was playing on the wing.

Peacheys on match payments only. Why dont try for him. nearly got him a couple of years ago

Peachey's 31, andd I'm not too keen on signing outside backs at that sort of age (props are a different story, as Price, Wiki and Craig Smith all show)
Plus he's got pretty strong ties to his aboriginal community so I'm not sure how well he'd travel, or if he'd want to make the move.

Polglase is no good. He's been knocked out too many times too.

McKinnon makes far to many mistakes.

Greenshields is class - but likely to stay put or go to the GC.

Steve Turner is very very good. He should be the player we really go after. IMO he could be anything...

Peach would be good for you guys with your forwards he would be a very dominant player as he is a 5/8 that plays full back would fit right in for the right price of coarse..
Also agree with scott on turner has a lot of ability.

No thanks.

Seeing as we probably aren't keeping Webb, it has to be out of McKinnon, Greenshields or Turner. All three are exceptional talents - Polglase is brave, but short of those blokes sheer ability.
