We the exception of Dragons, Broncos, This weeks toweling. We could possibily win the rest of these games. With Daniela/Jennings centre it's possible

There's no guarantee that Daniela or Jennings will be back for the Parra game. Hopefully they both are, but i was expecting both would be fit to play last week.

Yeah it was more hope than anything. Even with wat we have this week. i would be more confident than against Bulldogs without injuries.

Maybe paint the ball like a TAB ticket so Tighe holds it. and a hamburger for Blair. Then they would carve up

Parra, Souths, Canberra and NZ are games we need to be winning. If we don't get more than 3 wins out of that I'd be very worried. If we can come out of that period on 26 points with the 5 games remaining and everyone bar Coote fit, I'd be very confident.

if you paint the ball like a tab ticket dont worry about tighe getting it worry about me and fibro running on going for the intercept. I do love a bet

Playing the Cowboys in Townsville is a tough assignment. I'd be pretty surprised if we beat them up there.

We do have a good little run coming up but we need to focus on the match this weekend. For and Against is going to be really important this year.

I fully expected to lose last week. I fully expect us to lose this week. Sleep is correct in that for and against is the main focus. If we can hold the dogs to under 13 + then that is a good result for us, given our injury woes.

We've played terribly three weeks in a row now. I really don't care if we win or lose as long as we improve on those performances. We had the Tigers on the ropes the whole game but let them hang around until final closing it out at the end.

Last week was just a disaster in every way, shape and form. Any team would of beaten us. We did everything wrong from the little things right up to the important things. If we do that again tonight we'll get spanked.

All we need to do is build some momentum. We can't expect Lewis, Jennings and co to come in and everything magically go right.

Our kicking game is my biggest worry. Ever since the Dragons game it's been well and truly dogsh*t. Graham needs to get involved more instead of leaving it to Walsh every set.

If we can get that right it'll go a long way to helping us out. The bad play the balls, dropped balls and silly penalties last week I hope are all out of our system.

The only positives i see are that we should have Lewis and Jennings back before the season ends. Hopefully they can turn the side around and make this season an improvement over last year.

I'm sure that i'm in the minority here, but i don't believe that we're that much improved over last season. Aside from looking a tad more polished, we're still the same old side IMO. The added enthusiasm and desperation is just the result of having a much younger side, while the extra polish is just a reflection of having a proper halves combination and not playing Luke Lewis at halfback, Jarrod Sammut on the wing etc. Also we haven't had Brendan Worthless in our pack helping out the opposition.

This season is even starting to shape up exactly the same way as last season did. We're only 2 points better off then we were last year on the ladder at the same time, although we had both of our byes by now (So we're two wins ahead of last year). We started the season off with the same results as we've had this year up until about Round 11 where injuries started to change our fortunes through the Origin period... just as they are now.

Round 15 last season we were missing:
Michael Gordon
Michael Jennings
Luke Priddis
Paul Aiton
Adam Woolnough
Rhys Wesser (injured about 5 minutes into the game... leaving us with a 3 man bench with 2 inexperienced players and Shane Rodney who was just back from injury)

Our centres were Brad Tighe and Maurice Blair, Jarrod Sammut started on the wing before moving to fullback, Keith Peters was our starting hooker... yet we only lost that game by 1 point.

The following week we lost Luke Rooney early in the game, and were also without Petero Civoniceva due to Origin. That week was our draw against the Baby Broncos. Most people looked at that as failure, although we had less experience and a younger average side then the Broncos did.

I would be more positive about this season if we saw the same positives in losing players to injury. Last year we got to see so many blokes come through and give us some hope. This year we're just seeing old faces in terrible form with no enthusiasm or desperation, beating out young blokes who would atleast be able to bring in the enthusiasm and desperation we have lost.

I'd forgotten about Brendan Worth. f**k me, he was terrible. Every week he'd kill me and tear my heart out. He was just a momentum crusher.

I see alot of improvements in this season. Our direction is better and we're giving away less stupid penalties. Last year we did that way too much.

I dunno, our game against Manly was even worse in attack then what we dished out last season. Worse then silly penalties and drop balls... we were f*cking up play the balls.

Fingers crossed it was just the pink ball being a different weight and screwing us up. I'm not sure how it could make a difference, but quiet a few players seem to think it did.

I do see some improvement this season, mainly the defensive effort from the side is much improved. There have been a few games this season where we won through commitment in defense (e.g. Canberra, Tigers, etc) where I think last season we would've lost. Even in the Manly game, we dropped all that ball and had absolutely no direction in attack, any yet they only scored 2 legit tries (one off a lucky deflection).

Our problem is in attack, we rely on individuals to spark something. While that's okay when guys like Lewis, Jennings and Gordon are in the side, we need to develop a structure where everyone plays a role in our attack. I think with Walsh we obviously look much better, but still plenty of work to do.

Despite losing, i thought that was our best performance since we smashed the Roosters. My expectations were low, but we certainly dug deep and made the Doggies fight for a win. We could have probably even won the game ourselves if our lock wasn't such a pussy.

I actually thought Smith was one of our best last night.

We have some of the best 'line defence' in the NRL. We just lack structure and options in attack.
