Yes I am aware the contract he signed last year takes him through till 2009.

Junior after signing his new contract, finished 2007 very poorly.

I simply make the point, this season is make or break and if he does not perform, I am sure word will go out to other clubs he would be available. It happens.

rid blackett off your list. he lacks what it takes to make fg. paulo is a 50/50 and iosefa is almost a definite though not till his name is published by m.elliot.

Paulo and blackett are both potential first graders. Though I believe Blackett has a better chance of making first grade then Paulo (he lacked a bit of mungrel last year), whilst i think both of them are a bit off first grade atm. In saying that i havnt seen them after a solid off season and im pretty sure M.E and the rest of the coaching staff agree with me when i say anyone playing good football this year for the club whether its toyota cup or windsor premier league has a chance of playing first grade at some stage this season.

Blackett and Hlad are workhorses. Every pack needs at least 2 like them. Give me a pack like Webke, Buderus, Lazarus, Hindmarsh, Kennedy and O'Donnell any day over a pack of Josh Perry, Hughes, Clinton, Puletua menzies and Carlaw any day.

We need a pacl of blokes that want to go forward and tackle. That is why I believe Hlad or Blackett may get a shot at some stage later in the year.
