The loses don't hurt much anymore. Something is really not right.

I know many probably thought the same last year but we would absolutely create some sort of horrible record if we were to play finals football. Simply don't deserve to be anywhere near that.

Attack woeful again. Nothing gets done and we (the coach and players) expect something different... dumb dumb dumb

Cant help but think that Mary is setting up Demo to take the fall to take pressure off him.If this happens then that will be a all time low.

I enjoyed that more than the previous two games. Milne made a difference. Marshall had the opposition nervous. And we threatened the try line.

On the debit side, Widdop has to go. He has had all his football smarts coached out of him and he is now a liability.

Seriously we have nothing ..... No play makers , no vision , no speed , NO COACH .... I feel sorry for the cheer leaders they must shiver on the sideline , they dont move much , nothing to cheer about .....
I think in light of the mediocrity we are now aspiring to, the cheerleaders should celebrate and do their thing every time we complete a set.

Mary reports statistically we were OK. Tigers missed 40 tackles but we only missed 20.
We had a good lead at 8-0

I love how his pressers are just a narrative of what happened on the field.

"We were winning by 8. Then they scored 18 points and it really hurts us. After the break we pressed their line but they ended up with the try. We scored a try and they kicked a field goal. Next question."

Statistically if you break things down, we are doing some good footy - Mary

He must be watching a different game to me!

The Milne+Quinlan combination was really the shining bright light, a trust developed in the Cutters, players can depend on Quinlan being there, and plenty of those offloads were taken behind his body.

Hopefully some brief relief for those death riding Quinlan every time he is selected.

Mann is also playing some of his best footy, I dont know what the solution is for 2016, its really time to think about 2017 and who do you want where.. and if that leads to some wins great.

There is also a real issue with right centre and Aitken/Milne and possibly Dugan all being favoured for that position next season...

Basically, we have a group playing down on confidence and very confused at the moment, its not something you can turn around quickly... its the stuff we should have been working on in pre-season or early rounds.. I mean I saw lots of positives tonight, but the lack of conversion into points is so frustrating.

If you want to talk about statistics. For a big chunk of the second half we had 70% of possession and hadn't scored a point (only to let another soft one in). Everyone has to take some blame for that because they could at least cross the line once despite the game plan. Same story against Titans.

The most dangerous statistic - and I know I sound ungrateful - is that we have won 8 games this year. It's what is stopping us from getting change.

Last year we had wins that were convincing, wins that I can still remember parts of.

This year none of our wins were convincing, we simply played a team either low on troops or who were simply worse than us on the day. I wont really remember much of any of this years wins come the end of the season,

Milne and Quinlin showed some promise.
Aitkin when he get early ball causes problems.
Nightingale - great chase and tackle to show he still has heart

Game observations:

1. I thought they had a go today, much better than against the Sea Eagles and the Titans
2. Milne should have been playing since he recovered from his knock on ANZAC day
3. Mann is gaining more and more confidence and looks an outstanding prospect for next year
4. Aitken, I'm sorry to say is no longer a centre. He got burnt for speed several times today, turns like the Titanic, great on the straight run though. He should move into a lock position (aka Gallen)
5. Quinlan had his best game in 1st's
6. Halves are robotic
7. McCarthy played OK in his bruef stint
8. The boys who gave been playing for the Cutters really showed up the regular 1st graders.

Yes said the same thing last week. We could have easily been 0-18 or something similar this season, no joke. Not one enjoyable game all year. Get lost McGregor.

We certainly created more opportunities today than in recent weeks mainly due to Milne and quinlan but we failed to capitalise on most of them.

Marshall was better but Widdop and Rein were woeful and errors and penalties from LAM and Sims kept us out of the game.

The changes helped and I think the only option is more of the same starting with Mann for Widdop and havilii for rein.

Won't happen but should!
