There's only so many colours. They needed three different colours that stand out from the general blue of the training uniforms, so they've gone with green, yellow and purple.

There's still red and orange they could have gone with, but they're both worse colours than purple.

As far as jerseys go I'd agree with you, but this is training kit. The coaching staff need to be able to quickly distinguish members of different training categories.

You might notice the groups in each different coloured singlet all run together.

Most of the pics in this thread are of the purple group. There's also a yellow group and a green group.
