nfl primetime is no more.

nbc has the rights to the sunday night game and to the highlights of all the sunday games. that means no other network can show highlights on sunday.

at least i'm pretty sure that's how i read it.

i don't even know if we will be able to see the sunday night game anymore. i sent an email to espn(asia) asking them about it and they replied they're still working out with the nfl what shows it will give them.

Worst of all for you guys, the Sunday night game is going to be what the Monday night game used to be, the "game of the week" type deal. Because the Monday Night game has moved to ESPN which is a basic cable channel (it was on ABC last year which is a free-to-air channel), while the Sunday night game will now be on NBC. Since the NFL wants the game of the week viewed by the most people possible, the Sunday night game will now be the game of the week, sorry guys.

Anyone got any suggestions who they think may take the bowl out this year.
.
For the last two years I've sat down after the pre-season and looked at all the teams stats, etc, and came up with the Cincinatti Bengals in 2004 and the Denver Broncos in 2005. Plonked on both of them at juicy odds ($67 & $81) and have had a great time watching them progress through the year, to only just fall short when it matters.
.
I do follow the NFL but not as much as some others in here. I'm not into the draft and all that crap I basically look at the teams stats on the NFL website (just about every stat possible is on there) and try to pick a smokey or two at the value and have fun watching them (and my dolphins) throughout the year.
.
So who do you belive I should be looking out for this season, from a draft perspective, as the pre-season is only week old at this stage so my stats aren't really telling me much so far.
