Geez this is all getting very boring. These awards are decided by people who earn their bread and butter watching every minute of league all year long. At the end of the day they are subjective, it is just peoples opinion. Minichello hasn't been in the same form as last year but I can see how he would get full back of the year.
Where as Brett Hodgson. Well maybe pushing his cause is what gives Tigers fans a reason to get up every morning and not end it all right there and then. But the facts are are he is ORDINARY. His best years were 3 years ago. And that is why he now plays for the Tigers. In all seriousness he has been ok but no better than a number of other fullbacks.

Shaun Timmins has been in excellent form this year. Made planty of tackles, plenty of tries, plenty of line breaks. Timmins has been the difference for the Dragons in a number of games and his form is one of the reasons why we have made the top 5 this year a disappointing season last year. Anyone who has seen Dragons games would know this is the case. I actually agree that however Harrison has been better and was more deserving of the award. But it was neck and neck and these awards seem to go to the more successful clubs.

Were all this criticism comes about Timmins I will never know. NSW & Aust rep, great club form. Selectors, Reporters, Comentators there all wrong aren't they.

And before Roosters supporters have a go Phil Gould is Timmins No. 1 supporter, chooses him in every team every year. And please don't even mention Luke Ricketson in the same breath as Harrison, Timmins, Sattler. The Roosters had their opportunity to cut away that piece of deadwood this year and decided against it as it would reduce the local juniors in the club by half.
