Reports are Joash has been training pretty much exclusively as a FB so I'm starting to doubt that he will be bench utility. Can't see Russel or any other OB doing it either but in the age of the HIA its not a crazy concept.

Potentially Ryles goes a 4x forward bench? (not a fan personally) then use Tuilagi/Guymer at centre if we were to lose someone in the OB's

That or Riley Smith gets upgraded and plays 14... did play a fair bit in the halves in Flegg last season.

Carty can be valuable on the bench as he has utility value. Gee the options we have this year compared to last year is a nice change.

Yep the depth is chalk and cheese compared to 2024.

Our Cup side will be stacked, most players in that 17 will have some range of first grade experience with a sprinkling of young guns.

I'd just rather not affect two positions.

If affecting two positions lets us end up with our best option to win the game then so be it.
I'd change half the damn team around if it means a better chance to win.

We've seen plenty of players get put in the centres and fail. It's a hard place to defend.

I reckon Dunster might be a smoky for a wing spot while Simmonson and Fox are both out.

Has he picked up spme speed and agility you reckon?
It was a f**king awful injury he copped. Would be amazing if he was able to make it back to anything resembling his playing days beforehand.
