What a freking stupid idea it was to go into so much playoff detail. Now I'm stuck banking on a Wade-less Heat to make the finals (which they absolutely positively won't do without him). Even so, I still don't see anyone (not even Phoenix) picking off the Mavericks this year. Dirk just doesn't look like he's going to let anyone beat him this year!

I saw the Mavs against the Celtics and they are a machine. Admittdly it was against the Celtics but they just cruised through the game. From what I have seen of them this year if trhey don't win it it will be a bigger choke than last year.
Re the 8th seed in the East I think the Nets will get it as I don't think the Pacers have the cattle down the stretch.

EDIT:Correction the Nets went to 7th about 5 mins after my original post.
Orlando looks to be certain 8th and their only real competition for the spot is the Knicks and Pacers. I have seen all 3 teams and Orlando were far more impressive in the win I saw over the Knicks and the Pacers had absolutly no heart in the game I saw against the Nets where they got belted around the court all game.
