Great write up in the Tele today about the Manly-Cougars game. Manly surprised all again.

I still can't go past a Saints v Roosters GF with the Dragons to win.

A ripper of a semi tonight between Saints and Canberra. Very entertaining with both sides throwing the ball around and being creative.

Saints got home 18-14.

The NSWRL's flagship competition (despite all attempts from within to undermine it) will have its Grand Final this Sunday on TV (unlike other Grand Finals).

The Roosters booked their place with a convincing win over Manly. It summed up Manly's year. A tremendous improvement on 2003 often matching it with the best of them. But sometimes they'd perform like they were mid table. Too inconsistent were the Eagles.

Saints v Roosters in the GF at 2pm.

My tip is the Saints

I tip teh Sharks in Flegg as an upset but did say several weeks ago I believed they were the only side capable of beating the Roosters.

The Roosters in PL and the Dogs in NRL.

several weeks ago The Sharks played the roosters and dominated for much of the match had two tries disallowed before a couple of errors let the roosters get back in front to hold on for what was a very tough win. They have continued to thrive and while it will be an upset they have the ability to do it and all the pressure is on the Roosters.

Its not that I don't think the roosters are capable of losing

more that I just think class will see them through in a g/f situation.

I really hope I'm wrong though, I don't like the sharks at all but at least (as far as I know) the majority of their team they developed themselves
