Reynolds was so far in front of everyone else it's not funny. He had us so far in front that Georgie took him off with 20 to go. Beath and Koupa then stepped up as the Maggies ran riot scoring 30 points in the last 20.

I've said it for 2 years now. Shannon McDonnell + open space = try. This kid is just a freak athlete. We've had some pretty exciting juniors come through the ranks in the last few years like Hoffmann, Fulton, and Gibbs. Shannon could be better than all of them. The 1 is his until Sheens calls him up. He can still play SG Ball this season - and if he was we'd win that comp - he is THAT good.

Chris Paterson was the other stand out. Played the first 58 mins unchanged in stinking heat and was in everything. Then had to go back on after just a 7 minute rest when Sika had to go to the blood bin.

We are just starting to come together and so long as the Tigers form holds and we stay injury free there aren't too many sides that are going to hold this unit. Souths weren't that bad, but they couldn't hold these guys out once they got on a roll in the second half.

oh BTW Mighty Rabbit, there's a couple of little errors in that. Reynolds only kicked 6 and Beath 4 (Reynolds was already off)

and Mick Kouparitsas is probably Nick's cousin, but he doesn't play for the Maggies.

I must say your number 12 impressed in a well beaten side - he looks a keeper, and of course Champion crueled us in Flegg, but he had some mates.

Thanks Yappy

I should have known better than to trust the Souths website for accurate information (bloody hopeless)

It wasn't the website's fault per se. Just the tries were coming so fast that the ground announcer and stats man hadn't noticed that Reynolds was already cooling his heels when Jobson went in so they just assumed it was him again kicking.
