All of girvie's tips except Manly to beat the Cougars.

A few good stand alone matches as well. I hope they're well supported. Newtown - Parra usually draws a good crowd becasue of the 1981 GF rivalry.

Magpies 30 - South 24. We led 24-0 at half time. Bloody hell. At least we hung on for the first two points in 7 long weeks. Our last 2 pts? 70-10 against you guessed it Souths.

Gonna be another long winter.

Good to see Wests get the points.

UP THE f**kING JETS!!!!!

16 all and with 1 second left, Cliff Manua crosses the line in the corner. A brilliant conversion and the Jets take the points 22-16.

Stick that up ya Fitzy!

Just wondering, Hasnt the Knights premier league already had 2 BYES ? If so why are they not playing this week ?

A good question. I wish I knew the answer.
Newcastle did play Wests in a game that was called a 'supplimentary' game before the season started. I'm only speculating, but if that game was to make up for this hole in the programme, it means Wests get another two points, because they won that game.

The PL draw is always stuffed. The League has room for but won't provide a full home and away series. Similarly, you have these byes situations. Norths are in the same boat. Becaue the League don't want PL sides to travel too differently to NRL sides they have extra byes, suplementary rounds and teams playing each other twice but not necessarily home and away.

In the end each team will get 4 points from byes whether they've had two or three.

The preliminary game wasn't us it was souths I think. Those teams that played prelim games will have three byes during the draw, but only the first two count for points.
