I think we should have a thead devoted to Premier League, where you can discuss the latest info on players, contracts, and all our upcoming juniors etc.

Ill give a hand with the info part of it all when theres word.

I think its important to be discussing these guys, as with a new coach they might actually play next year.

I think that is a very good idea, when you live interstate it is hard to get info on PL.

I'm flying down in a fortnight to check.
I believe just the undercoat. Boof's doing the job with a 2 inch brush -so between that and his habit of fighting bouncers, he's running a bit behind.

That will be my first post.

Fair Dinkum Spider, First grade's given me grey hairs, what would following PL as well do?

The only thing PL has going for it is they play in the Shark colours.
I want the first grade cup first and foremost - and basically the only interest I have in the lower grades are knowing what blokes are coming through and are looking like good things.

That information's covered well enuff on here as is.

Unless we sign Boof as PL captain. Then I can see a weekly thread could have a lot of merit.

See the passion in your post brother - PL is vital for the competiveness in FG, we all know this. Yeah, FG is the mother killer of our natural hair colour, i wish i had hair, it sucks being bald and a Sharks supporter - but believe me when i say a bigger interest in PL will have its benefit acrooossssssss the board..

Its okay for all us supporters to get fair dinkum and show interests in the PL,

(is it our side next year or have we hooked up with Arncliffe Scotts. - Sorry being sar-karst-tic)

But I think the club needs to be sorted out before we need to be sorted out. From what I can gather some 2000km north of Endeavour Oval, the PL guys never got a look in anyway.

All our brilliantly successfull 2006 A graders were firmly entrenched in the top 17 and were a protected species.

The big Question for me is - Is that going to change in 2007 - maybe our new Director of Coaching can clarify the situation for us Idiots.

Its all very well for you good folk that live in the Shire that can go and watch the games, but up here we dont even hear anything about any other club other then they Brisbane Donkeys and the Cowpokes.... let alone the lower grades.

So will things change anyway?

Well the majority of them are going. I don't think this is a good model for running a successfull club. A higher player turnover cannot be good.

Too many 19 and 20 year olds are being written off. This is too young to write off players who've excelled at a junior level.
