tigers PL features stinky and the prince in the centres ?

you'd think the jets should run in a few tries thru that backline !

The real one to watch though is Joel Caine.
I went to the reverse of this game where Goldy won the match for them in the final minutes, & Caine had ablinder.

Jets were behind 22 to 6 at half time. Won second half 28 to 4. Final score 34 to 26. The Frank HYDE cup has a mate in the trophy cabinet.

What a game, and what a come back. Huge effort in the second half....

I know its a bit early in the week to talk about this one, but how crucial is a big win by the Jets in this game next Saturday. I mean BIG win.

Just saw the ladder. Jets have dropped to fourth spot regardless to the fact that they beat the Tigers on Saturday.

Canberra beat wests 42 to 12 making them although equal on 30 points ahead on for and against.

Roosters are 30 points and plus 194.
Canberra are 30 points and plus 130
Newtown are 30 points and plus 110.

The NRL obviously cant add up cause they have Parra on 34 points after their third bye. I still think 14 wins and two scored byes adds up to 32 though.

Norths for some reason always step up to play when they are against us in past seasons, and this game should not be taken lightly.

Will be very interesting to see who is in our side after the Sharks copped that pounding last weekend against the Tigers in 1st grade.

This is a game ( with canterbury on 27 points in fifth ) that the Jets simply can't afford to lose, and although in great form I am a little nervous already.

We really need to give the Bears a smashing next saturday as it would certainly appear that for and against may be the deciding factor come finals time.
( Although I am partial to the Bears ) we really need to beat them by 50 plus.

Another big crowd at Henson like last Saturday will be a step in the right direction.

Hope the boys can do it, and get back in the top three.

17) Thomas GEMMELL

Found last weeks lineup of interest as it has changed so much in just one week.

Some things to note were :

Vince MELLORS didnt play in the above line-up and played first grade however is now back in a Jets jersey versus bears.

Luke COVELL goes back to 1st grade replaced by MERRITT. Welcome back Nathan, however he continues on the wing where he played in 1st grade, instead of where he has played all year for the Jets, ( fullback still McGOLDRICK ).

Where is Geoff JOHNSON ( is he injured ??? ). Shart !!!

Russell back to number six.

Who is Ben GREEN. ( another flegg player ???, when is HALLY back ?? ). KEY POSITION changes or what ??? ( MYSTERY !!!! ).

No kevin KINGSTON again, another crucial loss to the side, and DOIG from flegg returns.

Good to STOSIC back in the side in number 10. No complaints or doubts there.

Ciraldo gone as well. Bugger..... However Thommas is always great for the Jets and is now in the first 13.

DOUGLAS off the bench is still all good.

BOBONGIE has been going great off the bench.

Regulars that are still in their normal positions are Cliff, Thommo, Jon Green, Bea, Frank ( due for a big game if they just pass him the fricken ball ).

Lots of shifting going on from a formula that was working well earlier in the season.

Will be very interesting this weekend.

Guess not many will be at the game this saturday now hey. Still am hoping some of the real faithful will attend and support a good footy side to the semi's anyway.
