The negativity in people saying we are gone out in straight sets, they are playing expectations down, they dont want to believe we can win it, prefer to be massive underdogs.

Well we are not we are into right up to our eye balls and basically favourite to win it, close to best spine in the comp, Maloney knows about finals, origin experience as well.

Flanno is getting us ready to peak again, over last few weeks anyone with niggling injury rested we have never had that before, getting the guys ready to be on track come finals.

I seriously believe this year is probably the best chance they have ever to win a comp, looking at the other teams and the way they are travelling.
Problem is the bench does not have GF winner written all over it.
Therefore I will bring out the famous " If they don't win it this year, they never will!!"

We aren't falling into the finals this year. We are certainties for the top four and may finish as high as second so there is belief among Raiders fans that this year could be a big one. I'd imagine we'd pick up a few bandwagon supporters along the way once other teams seasons are over.

I agree. That's the opportunity for the club. The finals are a new ball game. This team now has a core of experienced players who have performed in big games. No reason not to confident in the finals.

I agree Feej. We have always seemed to lapse for 15 or 20 mins. Seems we are doing that for 25 or 30 now.

This....best half of footy was second half against cows and first half v donkeys. Other than that we've played for an average of 60 mins per game max. In one of the most open comps in many years we're in it up to our eyeballs despite a couple of poor recent games. Two shots at a preliminary final spot...both in sydney most likely!

That bothers me, because it didn't happen before the flat spot.. If it does though, I'd say we will win it.

Only the Raiders and Cowboys would worry me if we turn it around.
