Premiership Rings

Just wondering if anyone had a photo of all the Premiership Rings dating back from 1998 when i believe they were introduced.I think its one of the great initiatives the NRL have for the Premiership winning team and much better then a medalion for the winners.

In princlple,a true sportsman would have returned those rings.

But when you try to mix principles with anything that has the NEWS LTD stamp of approval on it,you have oil mixing with water.

I'm sure the players are sleeping with an easy conscious.

I disagree. Look at the quality of this medal awarded to one of the elite players of our game...

Quality or not, unless you're going to an RSL reunion you're not going to get many opportunities to wear a medal. Most of the time it's going to sit around collecting dust. On the other hand you could wear a ring every day if you wanted. Looking at former NFL players a fair few of them seem to do just that and take great delight rubbing it in the face of other former players that don't have one.

Is the ring gus wears a premiership ring?

Edit: Just looked at a few vids and he isnt wearing a ring, but I do remember him wearing a fairly chunky gold ring on occassion, looks like a typical premiership ring, but may be just a wedding ring?

It's a horseshoe ring Gus organised after he cleaned up a bookie (won big for the non-horse racing people) at Randwick some years ago. I was told by someone reliable it was in the vicinity of 50K.
