Down 4-0 with 18 mins to go.. doesn't sound like it's been much of a game. I expected the reggies to flatten the Knights this week.

Nope. Lost 4-0 to the 12th placed Knights. I'd say the rain had a lot to do with it, but won't say much until I hear from someone who saw the game.

Possibly the very last minute call out of Michael didn't help... They stoped him as he was running out onto the field...

The rain had a lot to do with it. The Raiders had a lot of territorial advantage, but the weather was at its worst in Premier League, plus the ref allowed exceptionally slow play the balls.... they just couldn't get any roll on ......

The weather was at it's worst, and they played o.k the prems but just couldn't get over the line.

Cross was good, he smashed quite a few. One guy he hit so hard he couldn't get up. Alan Toungue played reggies too which was suprising.

The average age of the Knights team was under 20, with only 5 players in the side not able to play Flegg next season.
There were five 18 year olds in the side.

Only one player in the side had played any firstgrade before the start of this season (Josh Smith, 4 games).

The side has been improving slowly all season, and it is great to see that the young guys have finally got a good win, although they also pulled off a one point win over second placed Parra a month or so ago.

They now have six wins for the season, but have lost another 5 games by 4 points or less.

The reason the Knights were forced into having such a young team in Premier League this year is because the Flegg season was cut short, and it was judged that all these young guys are potential first graders and couldn't be allowed to sit out over half the season.
Next year the Flegg comp goes back to a full season and the age limit goes up to under 20, so the knights will be able to spread the young talent a bit more evenly and keep some older guys who might not make firstgrade, but will be competitive in Premier League.
